The creation of a Brand is one of the biggest difficulties we have to face when we are working for a Product, Company, Association, etc. Since the invention of the name to the graphical representation of it as an iconic symbol, the creation of a Brand’s design represents its values and objectives.
Isotype, logotype and isologotype are graphic and typographic symbols that visually identify a company.
- Isotype is the iconic representation of the brand.
- Logotype is the typographic representation of the brand.
- Isologotype is the iconic and typographic representation of the brand.
All or some of these must reflect a brand's objectives, its ideals and the target it is meant to reach, in a short and symbolic way. This is an analysis done prior to the creation of the symbol, since its result must match the company's foundations.
Every symbol that identifies a Brand is presented in black & white and color and each of these alternatives, along with its acceptable variations for its application in several media types and formats.
